Is Facebook still relevant for building the community around the product?

Building community around your product is so important, now days we mostly turn to Twitter, LinkedIn or Instagram while Facebook is still the biggest platform out there.
Is Facebook still a thing?
Depending on your target audience, facebook could still be useful. What's the age range?
I do not have any marketing targets, but there seems to be a lot of active communities around software development, marketing and so on...
Why do you not have a target audience? Is your product something that can be used by everyone? One advice I'd give is try to actually target a specific group. Y Combinator talked about it here .
