Is hiring a pain for early stage startups?

Early stage startups don't have much time and resources in making new hires. Can we make hiring process cheaper and more efficient for them?

Yes. But I believe the question is more based on the owners emotions... Hiring is not so different from a start up and any other sector. The issue is based on the owners constraints. Is the start up around competition, or is the idea so unique that maybe the type of employee is hard to find? Are they really needing 2 engineers, or would 1 suffice ?
Just my 2 pennies, but there is a need for this. At least in the Developer world, it's all shit due to a couple factors...
