As the title said, is it a good idea to build a website listing inventory of different supermarkets during the Coronavirus period?
I don't think it is necessary to rush to the supermarkets to buy steak, meat, chicken, paper . However, due to the panic, people do it. If we have a website listing the inventories, we can make right decision on purchasing.
The key challenge is that we need to engage the users to report the inventory of the supermarkets around his/her home. Any idea about this? Coupons or ?
Based on my experience in Singapore: groceries were able to replenish products in a couple of days and people stopped panic buying afterwards.
Thanks for the comment. I have twice experience that when you were in supermarket that something is out of stock at California. Maybe panic related to the local Coronavirus situation
