Is it clear what my product does? Any feedback welcomed!

Hello friends!

Yesterday I launched my landing page for Celebratio - the simple team events management tool with the intention to push the actual product to live in the next 3 months. Oh boi! 😱 I would really appreciate some feedback.

I was really against pushing the page live before I am like 90% done but before I dive in the final iteration, which might cost me some more than the rest, I am thinking to do some additional validation for the idea and just promote it as such.

Let me know what you think, about the product and the page itself.

🙏 Thanks!

Hi Aleksandar, here is a video with my reactions to your landing page. Congrats on getting it out there into the world, even if you feel your not quite ready! https://www.loom.com/share/9f5fff0be8ff4873b536233b018fd357

wow, I cannot express the gratitude for what you have done. You've brought many of my doubts right on the surface and I took very detailed notes to polish them more thoroughly. It is very difficult for me, being a technical person, to distinguish the value from the feature. I was often times very tempted to say "serverless" but I cut corners there. Thanks for the heads-up on terminology like UIs, flows, etc.

About the mission: I was hesitant whether users would be interested about the mission of the product, I tried to do that less cheesy, but I completely agree, there are lots of statements there that say what will make me happy rather then how users will benefit from the product.

(love how your kids interrupted you, as mine did while watching the video 🐣😂)

      Thanks again ! 🍻

You're welcome! Happy to provide feedback again after you've updated the page.

hey thanks! I've applied some of your proposals.

I removed the About section completely for now as I really do not have idea other than explaining the mission what this section should be.

if you have time, have a look. Thanks!

Hi Alexandar, much better now. I think it is a lot clearer who this is for, and the call to action is stronger. Above the contact form at the bottom I'd put again in big font the call to action to join the email list and get the free report. That way if someone gets to the bottom of the page and wants to sign up, they don't have to scroll back up to do so.

              Hey Nathan thanks again.

Want to encourage you to do some sort of early stage mentorship or offer paid services based on your knowledge. It's very helpful and I bet you'll be very successful in that!

              Thanks again 🍺🍻

Thank you for the encouragement! I have recently started a funnel agency and am focusing on SaaS companies and trying to develop my offer, so I am really happy to hear that I was able to help you.

Interesting concept. Consider moving the second image to the hero section at the top. I found myself wondering "what kind of events are you talking about" as I was reading, and the "offsite", "team building", etc. text answered that.

I see... woah, so valuable! Thanks. 🧁

This is really cool! I'm one of those people who only use Facebook Events because I haven't found a suitable alternative, but at first glance this looks like it could easily suit my needs.

Have you considered integration with Splitwise? That way, groups that agree to split costs could see the entire breakdown of who owes what for their trip. I use it a lot among my friend group—especially when on holiday, and we all take turns paying for dinner.

Thanks for your kind words and feedback! 🙇‍♂️

Can you briefly describe me how you use Facebook Events, like one simple example? It might help me get clues about the use case.

Splitting the Bill: yes! It is a bit further in my roadmap, but the after-event clean-up is one of the USPs of the product. So SplitWise is one option (I was hoping to do it with Google/Apple Pay Request/Send, but they are not available internationally).

At the moment I am trying just to get deeper insights for which user groups event management is mostly applicable for. Initially I am targeting teams, but the more I learn from some researches I do, the less convinced I am that people organising events for teams will be willing to buy this.

      Thanks again!

The other day I made a Facebook event to have a "game night" for my friends while we were in quarantine. Adding them was easy, since we're all friends on Facebook, and editing the event after was easy, too (I had to change the day once). But one thing that wasn't immediately apparent was how to clarify that it was an online event. I wanted to be able to add the link to the Zoom/Google Meet room ahead of time, rather than having to write "online" in the location input.

interesting. Do you do regular meet-ups like this? (considering also outside the Corona crisis, did you meet in person on regular basis?) just to get a glimpse on the frequency.

          1. 1

No, not really. We live in different timezones.

thanks again for your input! 🙏

Like your product and simple design @itsbalal

I can see you highlighted a lot of the benefits and features. Would be awesome if you can save a little space for problem statement too :)

Working on a page too (on Notion), keen to listen to your ideas

Thanks for your input @felix12777 !

I will try to emphasise the problem even more!

I like your page! Maybe you can also put space for communities (paid/free) which might be useful for bootstrapers.. just a thought.

Hey @itsbalal thanks for your feedback. Just saw this. That's' a great idea. Would love to implement it and mentioned your input. Can I tag you when I launched this feature? Let's chat on Twitter :)

          sure @felix12777 - ping me anytime ;)

Your logo is awesome. I was thinking why not make your website colors like your logo.

    • Spending lots of time on repetitive tasks organising ( organizing* ) an event?

Instead of asking > Save more time on repetitive event tasks organizing.

    1. 1

thanks that actually makes sense, will take it into consideration.

about the logo, well yes, partially it carries the primary color as part of the logo but putting them all there might be too colorful. Will experiment just to see 😂

        Awesome ;) Good luck
