Is it just me or others also write the same post(idea) on different socials?

Hi guys,

So, I sucked at marketing. Eventually, I figured that posting helps you reach people and if posted the right way(with right plugs) you can start gathering customers for your product.

That worked and got real good response. But in course of that I realized one thing. I post on three socials twitter, reddit and here. So many times it happens that I only want to post the same/similar idea but have to modify it for the respective platform. I was doing it for sometime and then I realized that I not just let GPT do it.

It was simple - I give a post idea and tell it to give me a post for that respective platform. This thing became so common that I decided to create a tool for this and after using it sometime I decided to why not to create a product out of it.

So I created Marketee

have a look, maybe try it if you want, and tell me what do you guys feel about it :)

Great idea and decent output. Maybe you can showcase some examples your product generates from one idea for the 3 different socials.

BTW, any thoughts to expand the socials, like LinkedIn, FB, etc.?

Sure, I am planning to add it on the landing page. It's free to use btw.

Just launched the product, so don't know about expanding or something yet.

As someone planning to launch on these platforms soon, I love this idea! Kudos!

I am glad to hear that, I built it for people like us only. What's your product about?

Hmmm - I'm unsure about this. On the surface, it seems like a great idea, but I'm highly skeptical about it. While I understand that the style of communicating slightly varies depending on the platform, it's not the determining factor. At the end of the day, you’re talking to people, and those people are the key element. You should craft your message based on them, rather than the platform you're using.

To me, there doesn't seem to be a big difference between posting on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter. However, platforms like Reddit, Indie Hackers, and others are a different story. Here, individuals engage in genuine conversations with each other in public forums. It's more about building relationships rather than simply broadcasting a message. On the other hand, on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, you can represent your brand and target people in a more general way (focus more on emotions than the actual nitty-gritty features of your product/service), you should focus more on building your brand awareness.

I think, with these platforms, it's more about and around Indie Hackers. It makes the communication easy and keep the authenticity. If you talk to enough founders, the idea of regular posts is mostly to reach people with your product as well along with having rich communications.

Your idea looks good. In other words, are you rewriting the content which ChatGPT generated?

    1. 1

sorry, I didn't get the question.

Great idea. I am wondering how you decided pricing for Marketee. Is it not possible a user can use more OpenAI tokens than the 9$ lifetime pricing ? I am also building a product around ChatGPT and unsure how to price it. Thanks!

    1. 1

Well, the idea is traction. Being on this pricing is not my goal. I will increase it once I have enough people using it.

Interesting idea. Does it also post to each channel, or does it only create the content for each channel?

    1. 1

Just create the content, so the way I see it that authenticity is really significant. So it gives the users an opportunity to make changes and edits to what the GPT generates.

  7. 2

    Good idea.

    You just won a client.

    1. 1

Appreciate it man. I emailed you a payment issue that happened btw.

  8. 2

Cool idea, I reckon on your landing page you should also show the posts Marketee created for each platform.

Incredible love it! Now my daily driver!
