Is it mentally stressful to work alone as a freelancer? cuz I sure think so...
So, I am building a place where remote workers can connect with one another based on the similarity of their tasks. It's like a co-working space, but on your laptop. it's called tribes and here is what it does: https://tribes.landen.co/
But really, I am deeply passionate about this because working remotely really does take a huge toll on my mentality. It also shunts me away from true human enjoyable interactions...given that most of my contacts are work-related and only require professional talk. So, this is a place for people who do the same stuff and want to converse on whatever the hell they want, outside of a work setting.
I want to see if people here want something like this so I can continue developing the platform knowing people will actually use it. So, I just set up a waitlist on the website, we are currently at around 70 people on the waitlist. If you think this might be of any use to you, don't forget to add your email to the waitlist!

It sounds like you are quite extroverted, and I've heard similar things from extroverted entrepreneurs.
I've thought about this before from this realization, and I feel that introverted entrepreneurs really enjoy and romanticize the solitude and uncertainty of the early days in a startup, where as extroverts romanticize post-seed rounds when the startup is rapidly growing. :)
It doesn't mean that extroverts aren't suited to early stage, or that introverts aren't suited for the growth stage. But it's worthwhile knowing for us all to be aware of this, so that we know what the "hardest part" is going to be for our personalities. So you're right to validate your own difficulties with freelance work to see if others feel the same.
Personally I'm more introverted, so I'm getting a huge buzz right now as I'm barely a month into building something off the ground - everything is really isolated and really new, and I love it! Having said that though, I'm at a coworking space, and from what I can tell I'd be into your tribes idea, so I've signed up. Keep me posted! :)
