Is it OK to change the username of my old sideproject to the new one?
I've been thinking about changing the twitter username of my old side-project (@meetupfeed) to the new one: DevQuarterly.
Both of them target developers. @MeetupFeed has ~200 followers I collected while promoting MF posts with dev talks so it's safe to say that 99% of them are developers.
My new project, DevQuarterly is a market research platform for the developer market with the same target audience.
What do you think, is it okay to turn @MeetupFeed into @DevQuarterlyCom or "rebranding" twitter users is always a big no-no?
No reason you can't or shouldn't change the name, just make sure it is consistent across your platforms and that it is communiciated well.
