Is it possible to overcome the Product Hunt Penalty with comments?

We've launched our book for SaaS marketers and had the 2nd place during the day, but then something wen strange and PH algorithm kicked us to the 10th place.
Now we're not looking at the core problem of it, we'll have plenty of time tomorrow, but we're checking whether it is possible to come back by collecting the comments?
