Is it reasonable to make straightforward daily android apps?

A story like that: I was looking for a flashcard app to help me memorize new words while learning a new language. But almost all apps were not satisfying in the market: whether they offer many complex functions and hard UIs, or paid and limited simple functions. So I decided to make the simplest one with just one primary function. And, of course, all free :)

But the question is, does it worth making apps with simple features can be used in our daily life? For example:
-Homelist - allows sharing your supermarket list with your family.
-NoteReminder - shows your notes daily to remind you not to miss them.
and etc.

Would be nice to hear your criticisms.
