Is it worth to build a pomodoro app?

I've used many pomodoro apps but until now haven't settled on a single app.

I was thinking of creating one with a little twist and different positioning. However I'm not sure it would be enough advantage for people to choose over existing ones.

Because there isn't a clear dominant app in the category, I'm thinking to give it a try.

What's your experience with such apps. Do you use them a lot? Have you settled on one single app that fits you 100%? Would you explore other options if there were any?
