Is last week of the year a good week to launch startup?
Considering most of the world is busy in the holiday week and spending time with the family, do you all think it is a good idea to launch your product on ProductHunt? Should we expect to not receive as many votes as other products get in 2 weeks before or after the holiday week?

Yes. People spend time with friends and family. Think about people who are still online, replying and interacting on communities like here. If those are the customers you need. Might be a good time.
If you really want the product of the day badge then this might be the time.
If you want more people to look at your product then wait a few days. PH will probably be flocked by products on day one of next year, so more competition too.
there might be more of an online presence this year, and your service seems like it would be great for individuals doing last-minute shopping for the holiday season.
this time seems to be perfect for you, only decision you'd have to make is whether you have the medium to spread properly and whether your product can handle that kind of scale.
Thanks for the insight! We are ready to launch on every front, just confused on the date as we are seeing less and less people voting in last few days. If we see enough people voting on 28th on PH then we might launch on 29th finally.
