Is Life-Time-Deal at launch a good idea?

We are launching in a few days and are thinking of a Lifetime-Deal for the first 300 users. We are hoping it could possibly help fund the project as well. Do you think a LifeTime deal could be a good idea? Any tips from whoever has done this before?

PS: This is for a tool that helps create content that ranks, at scale, and manage them.
