I've recently launched my of MVP Saylient and am getting mixed feedback on my Landing Page. Some say it is clean and concise, whereas others say it's missing the appeal/solution language. I'm reluctant to change it from one to the other and drop the conversion rate, so I'd love your opinions/suggestions on what needs to change first!
Thanks so much
You have just the right amount of text and information, I wouldn't change it. Only thing that slightly bothers me is that you wrote questions with a dot instead of the question mark :) (How it works, Who we are)
I have to ask, do you expect some google visitors and rankings? Or you rely on direct information and listings on specific sites?
Thank you :) I see the confusion haha! I will make the titles more clear. At the moment it's just built for sharing/listing as I wanted to get it out there asap. The next step is to make it more SEO friendly but I wasn't sure where to start!
Right now even basic onsite SEO is not done, you can start here https://metatags.io/ (in the right upper corner is the button to generate meta tags), Google, FB i Twitter tags are enough.
Also in the landing page copy you should have one of H1 & H2 tags, and 1 or more H3 tags (subheadlines).
Your main keywords that you are targeting should be sprinkled through those headlines, content and meta descriptions. Headlines and titles up to 60 chars, descriptions up to 150-154 chars. Also at least one image (real image, .jpg) could be included, with keyword rich image name and ALT text.
This is the basic of the basics, links are the most important of all (and quality content) and that is offsite SEO which is another story.
wow that's awesome! thanks for taking the time to write that. I need to do through my headings and update. thanks again, Dotz!
Firstly good stuff here's a few points to improve .I was viewing on mobile .
cheers
Thanks for the great feedback, Nathan. I wasn't aware of the 2 lines heuristic but it makes so much sense. I'll implement both of your suggestions, cheers.
