Hey Indie Hackers,
We just put up the initial landing page for our new project: Uvilox AI (https://uvilox-aiwebsite.pages.dev/).
Before we actively start driving traffic and launching outbound campaigns, we want to make sure our messaging actually hits the mark. When you look at the hero section, is it immediately obvious what value we are bringing to the table?
A few things we’d love your brutal honesty on:
Does the branding feel premium and trustworthy for an AI tool?
Is the call-to-action clear, or does it feel confusing?
What is the #1 thing holding you back from signing up based on what you see?
Drop your links below too—happy to swap feedback and look at your landing pages in return!
Went through the page properly.
The mission is immediately clear and it's genuinely meaningful, kudos! That part lands.
A few honest things:
It's not immediately clear who it is for. Am I a deaf person landing here? A family member? A healthcare provider? Educator? The page feels like it's talking to everyone, which means it's not quite talking to anyone.
Also — you're leading with the tech in 90% of the page. "Vision AI, real-time gesture transcription, model size 32MB." That stuff is impressive but it's not why a deaf person opens their phone in an emergency. Lead with what changes for them. What does their day look like before Uvilox, and after?
Small thing but it stuck with me: "AI That Speaks Sign Language" — the AI doesn't speak sign language, it detects it, right? It's translating from signing to voice. That's actually the more powerful story, and the current headline accidentally flips it.
The emergency calling feature is the most human, most urgent use case on the page. It should be your opening line, not section 3.
