Is paying via PayPal will have higher cost than paying via credit card directly?

hey all,

when you make a payment to US companies like cloud providers, is using PayPal when end up with more cost than using credit card directly?

the reason i do not use credit card directly is that, i don't want to expose my credit card information to the cloud provider.

however, i'm am not kinna sure, how much extra i have to pay to PayPal, compared to using credit card directly.
