Is Regtech getting enough attention from Fintech Startups!
With Regulated entities having core business into taking risks and remain susceptible to regulators’ reprimands & penalties, are there enough RegTech solutions to address their pressing needs!
This is a really interesting topic, as RegTech has the potential to save companies from millions of dollars of non-compliance fines and reputational loss if they have standardized systems of compliance.
There are RegTech solutions for compliance process automation - for example PwC uses a no-code "Rulekeeper" app to help their clients deal with constantly evolving compliance and data protection issues.
I think RegTech is particularly useful as unlike manual pen-and-paper compliance processes, this type of software can take a logical data-driven approach to risk.
I too am intrigued to see how RegTech evolves and grows.
