My product is at MVP stage ( decentool.com ) and I tried using social media marketing and either i am bad at it or its not efficient for my stage. I find it easier to approach users directly. I am new on entrepreneurial journey so what advice will you give to early MVP stage to get users?
( btw it will be helpful if you guys can go the the website and give out your opinion about the website especially on the UI/UX and copywriting )
Social media marketing is useful when you need to cast a wide net and get people through the door. However, it can be such a big funnel that it's hard to distill any useful information from it to make your product better. Even with analytics in every nook and cranny, nothing really beats watching a person use your product, or asking someone directly what they think about it and have your product get ripped apart.
If you're at the MVP stage, I'm not sure if getting people through the door right now is the most important thing. If you're not sure if your product is helping anyone, then more impressions are just going to be a leaky bucket.
Go manually find the first 10 and make sure that it's actually solving their problem. After that, try to get to 100. You'll quickly find that from 10 - 100, that's where you need more eyes and more leverage, and from there, you can think about social media and other tactics, IMO.
Thank you btw for the reply
I see so for my specific case which is validation it is preferable to find the user else it will be just a waste of money is it?
