Is Supabase enough to build any product with no backend knowledge? What's your experience?

Hey there,

I built frontend for my projects (https://collecta.space on Vue, https://3vit.app on SvelteKit), but it was always my partner who built API on Laravel for our frontend to use.

Unfortunately, my guy's life taking over and he simply doesn't have time for these $0 (so far) adventures.

I want to be able to pursue my ideas, but also don't feel like learning PHP from scratch.

Can it be done just utilizing my knowledge of frontend using something like Supabase (or Firebase, though I'm scared of bills)? Mind you, I'm also tempted to get into Mac/iOS native world and learning SwiftUI. Our Collecta app on Electron could be much better.

Help me group these thoughts? Is that a realistic way of launching products, by skipping manual backend programming? Have you done this before using Supabase? What's your experience?
