Under normal circumstances - How likely is it that you would have closed the tab already after a few seconds? Usually, a visitor of a websites decides in 5 seconds if they want to stay a bit longer or not.

Why is that 🔝?
After a few seconds, I did not understand why I should care. I understand that this a "community-owned" media app. But what is that actually? You somehow described the "WHAT" but not the WHY this is something for me.
When I visit a page I don't want you to make me think. Here I would have left after a few seconds because I couldn't make any sense out of this.

Is the overall design appealing to you? A well designed product or service is the first thing we notice. It does not to be fancy to impress. Often less is more.

The main information is still not really visible: what is this service doing differently than others? I would love to see that very prominently in the top.
You have a video in the hero that sounds and looks to marketing-ish. I suggest you try to explain the content of the video in text / image / gif form. You'll lose a lot of people by that won't click on the video

I do like the color scheme and the wave-y separator line.

Is it clear to you what the service / product does? One of the hardest thing to do is clearly communicating what a service or product does and why it is relevant to the user.

I'm still not sure that I understood it right.
And if I did, I'm quite certain I don't want to sign up for yet another social media platform.

When I read 'community-owned', my first though was: How is it community owned? How is it decentralized?
