Is there a genuine market for Data as a service for cleaned B2B healthcare data like Plan, Benefit, Enrolments, SDoH etc. data in the US?
These are data that are available in public domain but we've enriched the data to be business ready using our understanding of the industry and our existing clients (majorly payers).
Example Use Case: These data can be used by developers who wants to create an application for healthcare brokers.
Hey, there are couple of simple ideas to validate this:
-Try to contact couple of businesses that could use it in your opinion (try on Linkedin) and just talk to them.
-you can create report based on those data, create simple landing for this and buy some traffic by Li adds, google adds etc (or share in on you social) and you will create email list with people who are interested in those data. Then you can talk to them.
-Create simple landing with your "API product", share it on PH to see if there is positive feedback (you do not need bunch of people, just couple to talk to directly)
I had PH on my mind, but my CEO doesn't think there's a market and that is where I've issue using the brand, may be I should use some stealth branding on PH just for the validation sake. Thanks a ton for the ideas @Rafal_Kozlowski
Yes, there is a genuine market for Data as a Service for cleaned B2B healthcare data in the US. Enriched data, specifically tailored for businesses in the healthcare industry, can provide valuable insights and be instrumental in developing innovative applications for healthcare brokers.
I believe there's a move towards creating innovative broker solutions using technology, if that is the case, our data API can definitely be the easiest way to get the requisite data. Thanks @Aliya77
I can see some APIs related to health care domain in rapidAPI website. (https://rapidapi.com/collection/healthcare)
If these APIs exist then it means there is demand for the data related to healthcare :)
You can check their APIs and what these APIs serve...
Thanks @nitin_k - just checked these APIs, I can see these are not what I was talking about. We've medical insurance plan, their benefit etc. data. I feel there's a need for our data but my CEO thinks otherwise and is sceptic about it and that is where I'm trying to figure out and get some insight into whether there's a actual need.
@CPD_2K5 Good to know that you want to validate the market first before moving ahead to next step...
If I want to understand some market, I usually search similar topics related to that market on forums like quora, reddit.... Here also you will definitely get better insights.
I wish you all the best :)
Reddit is definitely something I can try, thanks again @nitin_k
