Is there a Google Workspace (Gsuite) alternative?
Like most here I have many ideas and each time I spin up a new site I need to also purchase a Google Workspace (formally Gsuite) account to host my custom domain email.
One hack I use is to run a number of alias emails off an exisiting Workspace account but I find this isn't always reliable.
Interested to hear if anyone has a cheaper alternative than using Google Workspace each time?
If you only need email, a SMTP gateway like AWS SES or SMTP2GO and a self hosted email platform like https://mailcow.email/ (can run on cloud free tiers) is incredibly efficient and cheap.
You can then use the web interface or your favorite mail client (I enjoy Mozilla Thunderbird).
