Is there a tool that can send push notifications to mobile without having to build an app?
As the title says, is there anything like this? I'm looking for a platform to use for my notifications, but I would rather not have to get an app built.

You may also want to consider Web push notifications. Users don't need to install an app (other then the web browser they already have) in order to receive your push notifications. Several platforms make it easy to send these kind of notifications.

Not mine. I just know and used on some projects.
My understanding is that there has to be an app, but it doesn’t have to be your app. There are a number of generic notifications apps like Pushed (https://pushed.co/) that you can use. But your users will still have to install that app.
There may be a way to use web notifications on android, but mobile safari on iOS does not support web notifications.
Yes, that's exactly what I'm looking for. It's fine if it's another app, and the user could download that - as long as it could receive notifications from my platform.
I actually just found pushed.co also, but looking at the most recent review in the play store it seems their support is non-existant so I decided not to go any further.
