Is there a website where businesses or people share their problems? (need idea for SaaS)

I would like to get legit ideas for SaaS, but first I need to find a problem to solve. So is there a website where businesses or people share their pain? :)

Most of the time in life, if you can't find an answer, it's because you're asking too broad of a question. If you're trying to understand a specific problem, you'll easily find plenty of answers. Start by defining hypotheses around your problem, and you'll see. For example: How do I know if I've set the right pricing for my SaaS targeting large enterprises? If you ask this question on Quora, Reddit, Google, or ChatGPT, you'll already get a glimpse of some answers. You might even find experts who have given talks or written books on the topic.

I don't have a website that shows peoples pain problems but I do have a database of SaaS ideas that have SEO potential, i.e. that are easy to rank high in Google and have thousands of people searching for them.

Feel free to check it out https://www.findmicrosaasideas.com/micro-saas-ideas-collection

sebconejo already mentioned that it's important to "ask the right questions", and I agree. However, I was amazed how helpful AI was in this regard.

Recently I had an "awesome idea!!", and I described it to ChatGPT and asked to be brutally honest with me. Reply was that, while the idea IS awesome, it wouldn't fit in my timeline, would take too long to start earning revenue. Advice was to look for things that would earn faster.

I switched to Perplexity AI (for its search capabilities) and asked what possible opportunities it can suggest for earning money in XYZ. It would spit out some ideas. If you don't like any, ask to suggest more, maybe add some more details about a direction you're thinking of. If you see one that might look interesting, ask to elaborate. You can use the tool to investigate how saturated the market is, and other research.

To me it was great that I could have a brainstorm session with an "someone" who can grab the information for you right away. While human insight and interaction is very important, to me this was one of the best use cases for AI.

I would say, your best bet's probably on a website like Reddit.

You just nailed the idea yourself. ;)

Yesterday I thought that a Problem Directory would be a great product.

TBH, I think this can also be a negative. Information scattered too much, spread thin.

So recently I came across a video where a guy explains how he finds ideas. He uses a tool called gummysearch.

I can't post links but you can find the video on youtube, this is the title:

I would like for it to exist too. Why don't you build the website quickly and launch it on ProductHunt?
