Is there an E-mail sending service for non-spammers?
I am growing increasingly frustrated with SendGrid. I've been a customer for many years, maintain perfect reputation, and send mail only to my users, and only to those who specifically agreed to it. And yet I'm seeing about 10% of my E-mails get rejected because some SendGrid servers land in RBLs because of other customers.
This means that I can't use SendGrid for transactional E-mail at all: it's only useful for things like product update E-mails.
I am looking for an E-mail sending provider that cares, and that separates customers according to reputation. It really isn't difficult to maintain a separate pool of "clean" servers.
Any suggestions?
I've used Customer.io on 3 different businesses and have absolutely loved the service. It's much more than email delivery as well if you ever consider app notifications/messages, SMS messages, etc. I previously had used SendGrid as well and was underwhelmed with the tracking ability and customer support. They have a ton of hype from the start-up communities, but just wasn't impressed with their service. I hope you find a solution that works for you!
Definitely Postmark. I use it for Letterbase (which depends highly on sending emails that are actually delivered), and it's fantastic. The prices can be high but it's well worth it.
They're also planning on supporting marketing emails in the near future. I believe you can actually sign up for a beta of that right now if you want.

In my case, I'm looking to send not just transactional E-mail, but also a "new features" type E-mail every month or so. To be clear, this is only to my users, who have additionally requested it. I'm wondering if that falls into "transactional" or "marketing".

AWS SES with a dedicated IP but it takes time to build reputation, there are a lot of services but they charge way too much for eg: netcore, mailjet
if you really really want high delivery rate i would suggest get 2-3 digitalocean servers , setup postal in ip rotation mode, do not forget to add reverse dns and slowly build reputation and you can achieve a high delivery rate ! Best of luck
Mailgun with a dedicated ip could be good. Thats what I use and it works pretty well.
