Hello everyone,
So I discovered Maizzle a while back and I want to give it a try for my newsletter.
This is Maizzle.
But before to dive deep and make a mess I would love to know your experience, opinion.
What has worked, what hasn't...
I would really appreciate your insights.
Thank you guys.
I haven't used it, but that looks really nice. I ended up hacking something together using Jinja, but I always felt like I wasn't doing the right thing. Keen to see what your experience is with it.
Hey Nat!
Well, been testing it but is still sort of advanced to be honest.
I enjoted the fact that I can use Tailwind classes, but it is also using different classes so is like to learn a new framework, but it shouldn't be difficult though....once you are in.
Will sure dig a bit more on it.
Jinja? Never heard....
https://jinja.palletsprojects.com/en/2.11.x/
It's a general-purpose templating engine for any kind of text. If I'd seen Maizzle at the time I probably would have used that.
I am downloading Mauzzle now to see what I can do.
Jinja look complicated to be honest.
I can keep you posted.
Yeah, please do. Jinja isn't too bad to get started with, if all you want to do is substitute some variables into an arbitrary text template. It does have more complex features of inheritance and a basic scripting language built-in etc., but I haven't needed to use that for my simple stuff.
Because I don't really know CSS frameworks very well, I actually find that stuff a little complicated personally (Sass, etc.). But it's all about what you are used to :)
Sure thing, with Maizzle you can change styles from a file called tailwind.config.js and it will be used as a class. So it should not be complicated.
CSS Frameworks seem complicated, but they are all the opposite once you have used a couple...
Yeah, makes sense. Let us know how you go!
Well, after going through and failed attempts.
I did this
And I used Antwort.
I started with the 1 column template and kept going with my own style.
Nice. I like the fact that they're columns in desktop mode. I get really tired of layouts that don't use 3/4 of the space they have on a widescreen monitor, just because some dude wants to browse it on his damn phone.
hi @Michael_Andreuzza Maizzle looks like a framework but not per se email builder.
We looked at all the main builders and multiple frameworks. You can see that here: https://www.emailvendorselection.com/compare-email-editors-design-responsive-emails/ Love to hear what your Maizzle experience is, and what you end up going with. Because we might need to add it to the frameworks at the end. And love to add some more detail on them.
Thank you Jordie Will definitely read it.
Really appreciate that.
