Is there anyone who is making money as a web developer through selling web templates?
Hi.I am young and I want to start being an "entrepreneur" through doing what I love and this is making websites.I am preatty good at this I have been doing websites for more than 2 years.
I am interested in building some websites templates and try to sell them on different marketplaces other than on my own website. But I don't know if it is worth it. I heard people who said that this was a good idea one decade ago.
I don't what to do. What do you think? Should I do it or should I start freelancing or something more "safer"(i don't want to do that I want to sell things because If i am a freelancer I can only work like 8-10 hours every day but if i am selling something the number of sales is unlimited every day)
I want to hear your opinions and your advices.
And If anyone ever did or is doing this I would like to talk with that person/persons.
I think it's a great idea. Plenty of people use templates. Some people swear by them and don't use anything else. I also think you should not limit yourself to marketplaces because they take a piece of your profit and your name will be opacity .5 font size 14px, if you know what I mean.
