Is this a good strategy?

Hey!

Last time I've talked about my startup SafeSaaS, which I decided to dump it into the good learning experience bucket.

Now with the experience I got from it I want to start a new one, a cybersecurity platform powered by AI. That's another story.

I decided to use cold outreach for this tool too, and I've came with this idea:

  • Create a separate page on my website where I only talk about how my SaaS can benefit them.
Like have a page: https://owloutreach.com/google (spoiler, it does not exist)
and there talk about all the features I bring and niche them to the company needs.

Here is an email template, I need to make improvements on it, so please let me know how I can make it better

Hey {name}!

I want to keep this short,

I love {company}, it is basically the future of {boring description}, and I decided to introduce Owloutreach, a vulnerability management tool, we help awesome companies find vulnerabilities fast, without hassle and headaches, so you'll have better peace of mind.

If you want to know more, here is a link to a special use-case made by us for your business, https://owloutreach.com/{company}/, please let me know if you would be interested in this.

Thanks,
Adrian

I feel that I can greatly improve this. Any recommendations are more than welcomed!

I'll also launch on PH this week.

I've been working on cold email myself and it's been a journey. I understand why cold email agencies charge so much, it's a lot of time, patience, and changing things when they don't work. Good luck to you!

Hey Adrian, cold outreach is a great way to get traction and feedback on your tool, depending on the company size you're targeting it can definitely work well, in my opinion. However, you will need persistent follow-ups, and a ton of patience to make it work - especially, as I can see, since you're going the SUPER-personalised route.

Keep your emails as simple and direct as possible, and maybe even try to include multi-channel outreach to make things grow aggressively.

    Hope these small tips help.

I just listened to a great podcast all about cold outreach. It gave a really simple breakdown for more effective outreach emails with better personalization, the right framing of problem/solution, a targetted audience, and persistent followups. Hope you find it interesting too:

That's a great idea! Cold outreach can be very effective if done properly. I think the email template looks good, but I would focus on emphasizing the value your SaaS can bring to the company. Make sure to highlight the features that are specifically tailored to their needs and why they should choose your service over others. Good luck with the launch on PH this week!
