Is this app worth converting to a SaaS?
Hello Everyone,
As I do a lot of automation using selenium and python in my day to day work, I came across some personal things ( let's call them plans for now ) that I do almost daily, for example checking scholarships, generating vpns clients/certs, scrapping some data and creating charts... etc , and I eventually built a simple app that runs this plans for me in an automated way, and notifies me either by mail or SMS.
Then the idea came to me, why not share these plans with other people in some sort of format : a digital marketplace for instance ( where people run these plans manually, or regularly .. ), and make those plans customizable so they can fit other people needs, and also, why not accept requests for new plans submitted by other users.
At the end, we all share something :)
What do you think, would this interest you?
What is the scholarship part? Like academic scholarships and grants or....
Yep exactly. I get notified each morning whenever some new scholarships have been posted on some sites I usually follow.
I teach College Finance in a high school, and this would be great for students to track scholarships, deadlines, etc! We manually put them into Google Classroom as assignments, but students always complain "I didn't see it or I didn't know!" We should build something!

I agree with you to some extent, but once you get to really custom plans, I don't think Zappier can handle that, or any other similar tool.
