Is this idea worth pursuing? No market validation

Hi,

I worked as a freelancer and I had an issue with creating proposals. There was a certain feature that I needed that would help me create a price for my client.

However, I've talked to a few people and there doesn't seem to be a huge demand.

But I can imagine it happening! My intuition says goes for whereas my logical side says to not waste time without more market validation.

Should I complete this prototype and show the client what I mean first? Then decide from there?

Just a battle with myself as I could be pursuing other ventures that could make me money.

I'd love to hear your challenges surrounding this issue.
