Is this landing page confusing?
Hey there, here is the landing page for the saas product im building. I'm targeting small digital agencies and freelancers.
Things to know if you're not in my target market:
- When you start a new project, you create an SOW (Scope of Work) that outlines all of the deliverables that go into your project scope.
- The more detailed your SOW, the better off you'll be and the more you can protect yourself from Scope Creep.
The little red animations are great, who did them? :D
Purchased from a Lotti Library, I can't remember who the artist was but he had a few great ones
The name wasn't very apparent, until after I went to the webpage, I was able to learn that it could help with the managing the scope of my project.
There's lots of words, remember less is more when it comes to design, read "Don't make me think" a good book on UX.
Okay I'll work on that. It's hard because I dont know what words I could remove and still make the product understandable. If I had a video walking through what it does I think that could help but im not quite there yet. Really just testing the market to see if this is something people would be interested in.
Something that sticks out to me is that the "Pre-order" link is the only nav link that works. You should get that fixed.

The concept is clear, but incredulous. How can a 3rd party build a scope doc for a project without extended conversations with the end-customer/client? The landing page doesn't answer this immediate objection that came to my mind.
Does it work only for design projects? What about development? Or copywriting?
That's the main problem I have with the overall pitch. What follows below are nitpicks.
The down arrow doesn't work on mobile.
"Ever Lost Sleep Over One Of These?" - the content just below that sentence is not related to that question? I was expecting a list of relatable pain points after that question?
Is the pricing take a before/after for the services rendered by your customer OR for engaging Scope Concierge itself? Very confusing.

We simulate a conversation via our intake form. Based on answers to the form we'd generate a template. This template might need to be further customized/tweaked or it might not. Does that answer your question or am I misunderstanding?
Good question, I do have an FAQ item about this but I can probably bring it closer to the top of the page. It will be designed to work websites design, development, and general graphic design projects at first (adding more project types as we go). However, if you have a different type of project (like Copywriting) you could still use the tool to build your own SOW (sort of a "start from scratch"), but we wouldnt automatically generate a template for those.

Are you viewing on mobile? On desktop I have thought bubbles floating around that say "What if I charge too much and price myself out" "What if I charge too little and cut into my profit" "What if I forget to include something in the scope"... Stuff like that. I need to workshop how to incorporate on mobile with less visual real estate.
Yeah great point, I thought that might be confusing. The table is meant to show that Scope Concierge helps you price your projects by considering all of these different variables — as opposed to traditional pricing which maybe just considers # of hours a project takes. Then the price at the bottom $10,000 versus $12,500 was meant to illustrate that when you price using multiple variables you can potentially charge more for projects but I dont think that's totally clear so I'll probably remove the prices at the bottom. Would that help? Does the rest of the table make sense without the prices?

Its confusing why there are only screen shots of the end product. Why not just link in a full example that we can browse through for real? You can even make it a tour so that it explains features as you go.

If you don't mind, could you clarify which part of the experience you feel like you are missing? Part 1 is an intake form (you see a screenshot of Step 1 of that form which is "choose your deliverable"). Part 2 is the SOW is generated and then you can edit that.

No I want a full output of Smart Scope Generator that I can see without logging in instead of an annotated screen shot - what do the people receiving the SOW see? Even better would be a full play pen that I can change things and see generation from but I understand if that's too difficult without a login.
Nice okay, since the product isnt finished yet I can't totally do that but I think I could probably fake it with a video walkthrough. I've already rigged it using a combination of typeform and some other pre-existing software. Something like this?

Ahh yeah, the HelloSign uses an SVG animation to show animated mock ups, that's cool. Definitely helps communicate the steps
