Is this the worst SaaS landing page ever?

I think I've just created the worst SaaS landing page ever. Frankly speaking, I run out of ideas to put on landing page that'd convince people to share their email ID.

Here it is: https://trustboard.microweb.app/

In a nutshell, it's a simple tool that lets you capture authentic user testimonials automatically and display them on your website.

What should I do?

    Hi,

I keep launching SaaS products, launch on Product Hunt (Got featured last two times), and even get a decent amount of signups. I'm starting to conclude that my landing pages are fine, just not the onboarding process. could you take a look please?

Seems alright. I run a SaaS and I've been thinking about including testimonials on my page. I think it might be good to include a mock up of how it works:

    1. Show reviews by defining a region on your page
    2. Capture reviews by including this page/widget in your user settings page

    Hey @thebigk! 👋

If you're looking for content about writing landing pages, here is a resource you might find useful: https://www.julian.com/guide/growth/landing-pages 😊

    Regarding the content itself:

    • I feel it's missing why I should use your product instead of https://testimonial.to/ for example?
    • How is your solution automated? Is it the integration part? The gathering part? Can you tell more about that?
    • How will this be displayed on my app/website?

I don't know how to write good landing pages either, but I'll share my thoughts:

    • I would like to know more about how it works. I think more of the explanation on the bottom should go to the top.

    • The "without doing anything" is not really believable, at the minimum I will need to insert a snippet into my homepage or give website admin password to you. Do I need to select which testimonials go on my page or an AI will decide?

    • Also, I don't like the blurred image; instead, I would just put it under an "Example:" heading and have a few different sample text and photos.

I agree about the without doing anything part.

      Also about the blur.

However I kind of like the : I'm not good at writing landing page. You're an indie. You're realist about who you are.

      People will identify with that

Thank you so much for your feedback! It's really helpful. I don't have a demo ready; but I can do something around it. Until then - if you see value in what I'm building, please consider sharing your email address.

The landing page doesn't need to be amazing, it just needs to sell the idea.

Some examples I can think of are... well they're gone now, actually. Fathom had a super simple landing page, now they've got a "pretty" one. Clubhouse also had literally just "heya, sign up here and we'll let you know when it's available", now it has a "pretty" landing page.

There's a pattern here where the products that sell don't start with a beautiful landing page, they start with one that works. There's another pattern where once these companies progress they tend to stop being pragmatic and start trying to be shiny. Not sure that's a good allocation of resources.

Essentially, fuck the landing page. Make it something that would get you to use the app, if you stumbled across the page.
