Is your business based on an open source project? Would love to hear about it

Hi! I am looking for indie hackers who have built their business around an open source project. I would love to hear their experiences, how it's been for them and if they have any advice or tips.

I am thinking of doing something like this with a tool in the Kubernetes space, but I am still confused as to whether an open source approach would work for me or not.
