Is Youtube Ranking : Takes place?

Currently just started a YouTube channel one month ago and it has around 5 videos and I'm getting 60-70% of traffic and views from external sources like sharing on whatsapp, instagram and facebook.
But this is not how it can be in long run, what things you guys can suggest because I have tried talking to some guys who are charging around $150 - $200 per month and saying they will embed videos on wp sites and will send targeted users. Things like creating playlists, sharing video on playing sites, link building and social shares are included in the service.

Is it going to worth it?
