I've started Logto about two years ago to help developers and companies build auth with great experience and scalability. I'm proud of what we achieved so far, and we truly appreciate the Logto community has brought to our endeavors.

    Congrats on your progress! Besides being open-source, how is Logto differentiated from the likes of Auth0 or Firebase Auth?

      Thank you! Some highlights of Logto:

      • Logto offers a prebuilt, highly customizable UI called the "sign-in experience" for web and native platforms. You can easily configure it in the web console without making any changes to your code.
      • Better developer experience. Integrating Logto with your apps is very simple, allowing you to get started quickly. If you're interested in exploring advanced features like Management APIs, Logto provides a comprehensive solution and documentation for that too.
      • Centralized sign-in from day one. You can start with an web app, or a ChatGPT plugin, and keep your users aligned with your product and company's growth.
      • Logto supports authentication and authorization with built-in Role-based Access Control.
      • We offer more reasonable pricing compared to charging per Monthly Active Users (MAU) with a fixed price. Our billing considers user engagement levels, and we provide discounts accordingly. We will be launching the pricing page next month.
      • In the future, we have plans to introduce a feature called "Organizations" later this year. This feature will be a drop-in solution for services and apps that require dynamic organization (tenant) management within a single identity system, similar to workspaces in Notion or Slack.

      While Auth0 may cover some similar aspects, the Logto experience is unique and goes beyond what can be expressed in text. Feel free to give it a try and let me know your thoughts!

        Thanks for taking the time to reply. My recommendation would be to take some of these unique points and incorporate them in your landing page. While your landing page is quite polished, it did not jump out at me how your product is differentiated. “Just try it” isn't really going to persuade users to try it – trying isn’t free, it takes time and effort. You have to give them a clear reason to spend that time and effort. You should find a way to express your uniquness, whether it be through text, images, video, or whatever works. FYI, I currently use Firebase Auth which is free, and integrates very easily with Firestore and security rules which is my number one priority. Hope this feedback helps, and good luck!

          Thank you, totally agree with you. We are improving the website (with additional landing pages) and I hope the new version will be better. I'll try to let you know when it's launched.
