Hey folks, I want to bounce off an interesting idea and understand your point of view in return.
At our company (B2B SaaS with +ve cash flow), we have been noticing a pattern that it's becoming increasingly normal for everyone across the board to come together whenever there is an opportunity to get a deal across the table.
We started noticing this pattern of "collaborative selling" when our salespeople started giving shoutouts to others from the non-sales team during every All Hands meeting.
The more we thought about it, the clearer it became to us that the likelihood of closing a sale improved drastically whenever there was a tight collaboration between teams on the seller as well as the buyer side.
Lately, we are so fascinated with this concept of partnership between sales and non-sales stakeholders that we recently launched an entire ebook on the topic!
Here's the #ShamelessPlug to download the free book, only if you're interested: https://www.avoma.com/books/the-collaborative-selling-handbook
Please don't hate me for sharing this. 🙂
I think collaborative selling is an idea that has the potential to change the way your business approaches selling. And the best part is, it's something that you might already be practicing in your business even if you are not aware of it.
How do you approach sales in your startup? Do your non-sales functions huddle together with sales when it comes to closing a sales deal? I'd love to know how indie brands roll when it comes to sales.
