It's my B-Day and I'm starting my 12 startups in 12 months challenge 🥳
Heey everyone! I'm new here (literally just signed up a few minutes ago 😂) and I thought I'd make my first post about doing the #12Startupsin12Months challenge...
Some quick background:
- Been doing web development since Highschool. Mostly with Ruby on Rails.
- I have experience with graphic design and UI/UX.
- My fav food is sushi (not sure how that helps build startups, but I'm sure it does 😉)
My goal with this challenge is to get into a habit of shipping products. I've built a lot of stuff over the years, but I never ship it. I always lose faith or get distracted with something else. This is the year I actually SHIP my products.
Current Task List
[x] Come up with a list of ideas
[ ] Do basic market research to whittle my list
[ ] Start building idea #1
[ ] Launch idea #1 by or before the end of Jan

Good luck on your challenge, I'm doing sort of the same at the moment.
One week down the road I can say: keep things simple and use the knowledge that you have instead of learning a bunch of new stuff.

12 projects in 12 months could be huge and overwhelming.
Cut it down to 6 projects in 12 months and use that extra month to market the products.
This could be a good starting point that I have been writing for an year.
