It's okay

It is super easy as an indie hacker stare blindly on statistics like "How am I doing right now? What do I need to do to generate more revenue? Is this the best approach?"

Recently when I launched my latest application, I followed the statistics multiple times every day, got let down by how users downloaded the app and afterwards deleted it. It went for so far that I decided for myself that I can't keep going on checking statistics every day, I simply felt defeated and the fun went completely away, sometimes I even got stressed.

I needed to change my mentality from "I need to make posts, analyze statistics and what my next move is to generate more traffic" to "I don't care if it doesn't go well, I am just doing this for fun after all".

Sure, my mentality not working for large SaaS applications, but I just want to remind everyone that sometimes it wont go as planned or as you have hoped, and that's okay as long as you have fun along the process and learn for your next project, self care and development is the most important thing of all!
