It's time to fly. Preparing for Code Hawk launch on Product Hunt.

We are going to do a soft launch for our Application! And it’s a crazy good feeling to finish the project and release something into the wild. I’m both excited and afraid. I ask myself, “Is this normal?”. I have no idea, but it's exciting to move forward after working on it for some time.

App: https://codehawk.io

We are giving a voucher code 0F3A396D which offers a 30% discount on all plans. You can use it during registration, plus it offers 14 days trial instead of a free plan.

I’m passionate about application health and performance, making things work smoothly, and alerting people when things go south. That’s a reason why I choose to build Code Hawk. We've been battling with ourselves for a long time, and procrastinating a lot.

What to build? Will it work? But in the end, I wanted to ship things that I care about. If we ship, fail, but build distribution and learn along the way it's still a win for us. Better than just thinking about ideas, it got us nowhere. So it's time to ship it.

The app will allow you to do a couple of things:

❤️ API Health - you can monitor API endpoints, pass the parameters you want us to send to you, and we will notify you if it stops working. Define your own asserts, response time, response code, or what kind of properties you expect to have in the body.

📊 Web Performance - track what is the performance of your application, track metrics and load time so that you can optimize for the initial load and speed up the app.

🔔 Alerts - choose to which channels we should notify you in case something is failing. If things go south, to whom should we send the message, and who will solve the issue? This way, you won’t be caught sleeping at the wheel.

Our roadmap is public so you can vote and suggest the features that you are interested in. But we are currently in marketing mode for a release and will move to the build phase after a PH launch.

We are going for a soft launch before we go wild with Product Hunt in a couple of weeks. Do I know where are we heading? I have zero ideas, but I'm excited to keep marketing it in the coming weeks.

Saying all of this, I would love to get feedback on the app. What do you guys think? What should we improve before the Product Hunt launch?

Congratulations on your launch! Do you maybe have a checklist of items you have in mind to say you're confident in doing a launch? Maybe that way we can help QA the stuff from your checklist. :)

Congrats on the launch! Keen to see what other people think you should do as I feel like I'm approaching the same sort of soft launch phase!

Thank you! I'm going for multiple channels for now, Reddit/Twitter at the beginning, and my own newsletter where my customers should be, but it's still a small newsletter (~250 subscribers). One more channel for me is betalist, but it's a long process to get approval (even if you get one).

And then in the coming weeks, we will do a PH launch, but during that time we will go on Twitter and engage more than in previous weeks since it's really important.
