✨ It's time to show off your blog!

I have a new idea for a startup project I'd like to launch.

The goal of this new side-project is to show all the steps of creation. (design, product, growth, revenues...)

As I could do for Plant My Forest on Twitter, 3 months ago.

But this time live and on YouTube.

To show how in less than 8 hours (one day) it is possible to launch a new startup. (without coding)

If you have a blog for your company / startup / side-project.

➡️ Comment on the link of your blog.

It helps me and it gives you free visibility (what more could you ask for?).

PS: If you don't have a blog, post the link of a (corporate) blog you like and tag the name of the person who manages it!

My gf and I just released that blog about Social Justice. We have a patreon and need exposure 🙂

Few days back, I've configured the blog for remoteleaf.com and I wanna share it here -> https://remoteleaf.com/blog/.

It's pretty basic one with my year in review post :)

I see we got the same Ghost template! Great job on your blog and very nice article. Good luck for this year. Since I'm not building any business yet (just goofy side projects) I'll just share my blog like this https://funnybretzel.com/

I blog usually once a week, for an audience of women business owners. It’s at: https://yourentrepreneurialspirit.com/blog

    I’m blogging/writing here https://usergrowth.io/blog/

On a previous blog I used to publish every week, but now I only publish when I feel that the article is the best piece of content out there for my target keyword.

So less frequently, but even more in-depth. Like my latest piece going over the 7k words to really cover everything about the subject that could be covered.

If I could give you one piece of advice, I would suggest moving your blog (if possible) to /blog/ on the main domain.

Since it is a subdomain right now all the people linking to your content will make your subdomain more valuable, give it more authority, in the eyes of Google, but not the main domain (which I think you would like as well).

So if you have the possibility I would migrate it to a subfolder of your main domain.

        Thanks. Much appreciated.

I was actually debating this topic and chose to not do what you suggested, only for convenience.

        1. 1

Sometimes something convenient now, will hurt you in the long run ;-)

But no hard feelings, it’s a free world after all. Good luck with the blog, I think a lot of product managers could use the advice you’re giving!

          1. 2

No no. I trully appreicate your advice.

The reason I chose to do what I did, is because I didn't think it made a difference. So, chose the easy way out.

Once again, thanks for sharing your views.

And thank you for the encouragement too :)

https://postmodernwork.com is about passion projects and new ways of working. Something I was trying to figure out myself, and damn that seems hard.

Building a blog but not sure whether to go with static hosting or WP. Any recommendations?

  12. 1

My blog is actually based on Substack + Carrd for a landing page and is actually a stand-alone blog so I don't know how much it will help you. But here it is anyways -> noobmaker.blog.

I'm really curious how this new side-project will turn out!
