Last week I was maybe 15 minutes into a JRPG dialogue scene, no official translation for it, and I did the thing I always do. Screenshot, switch app, paste it into an AI tool, wait, switch back, and by then I'd already forgotten why the line even mattered. I did the rough math after and it's like 15 to 20 times a session. That's not a small annoyance, that basically kills the immersion every single time.
So I'm building Vexora. You select text on screen, hit a hotkey, and the translation just shows up inline. No alt tabbing, no losing your place, no fighting with a keyboard layout for a language you don't even type in.
The part I'm most excited about is that it's not just line by line dictionary output. It keeps context from the last few lines you translated, so pronouns and tone and who's talking to who actually make sense instead of feeling like Google Translate soup.
The demo has this little moment I really like where text you literally can't read morphs into text you can, right there in place, no app switching. That's the whole point basically.
Right now it's a landing page plus that interactive demo, no working build yet, so I'm building this one pretty publicly from here on out.
Honestly the thing I'm most unsure about is pricing. Would you rather pay one flat price for unlimited translation or pay less upfront with some kind of capped credits system like AI apps usually do. Genuinely trying to figure out which one people trust more before I lock it in.
