Frankly, I'm embarrassed. I'm an avid listener of the IH pod (where is it by the way?) and every time Courtland mentions a freeloader that contributes nothing to the community but then wants help with their project, I cringed a little. Why?
Because I knew it would one day be me. Not because I'm a freeloader, but simply because I have nothing to give ha!
As an ex-athlete, I've felt kinda lost in this space. But I started anyway, just small. I built a newsletter for athletes, teaching them how to invest and start businesses. I used ghost.io and even customised a template on my own, I was buzzing with that.
Anyway, I like sticking with the sports theme because I feel I can at least share it with the people I know for feedback. I built a game -- on bubble.io, well it's nearly built.
Users have to guess who a sports star is by looking at their Wikipedia page. I think it's a fun idea... We'll see. I have just one question...
Does search matter for games? I mean when I look on similar-web for anything to do with my sport and Wikipedia quizzes, the search is none existent. I know it's a problem I obviously don't have yet but how will I ensure I get regular organic traffic?
Does no search mean, a bad idea?
