I wanted to share my story with you. It all started with my hobby of playing around with ChatGPT about three months ago. It was fascinating to me, and I soon realized how cool it would be if we could integrate it with our own data. So, I teamed up with my best friend, who is now my technical co-founder, and we created an MVP. Last week, we launched our AI MVP, but we're not seeing the traction we hoped for. I'm wondering how I can attract more people to use our solution. Our target segment is tech startup founders with 10-50 employees.
We took a lean approach by not building an interface and using Slack as the channel to interact with our AI. Despite being an MVP, our solution offers a complete experience of how the AI can fetch answers from Google Drive, such as Google Docs, to provide highly relevant results.
As a first-time entrepreneur, I'm feeling overwhelmed with everything that needs to be done and prioritised. I'm curious to know, 1️⃣what would you do to get people to use your product once you have the MVP? Anything you feel it's very effective? Also, 2️⃣do you think building a community around this project makes sense? I'm keen on creating one purely I want a sustainable WOM channel, but I'm not sure if I can generate enough interest.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
Thanks for your help!

I recommend you promoting it on social platforms such as twitter and reddit. Twitter is a great place to build in public and you will get awesome feedbacks. Reddit on the other hand is good for initial boost. I have also seen people create demo videos about their products on youtube and tiktok.
