i want to build a profitable business but i don't know which idea to choose from the list . I want to know what you think.
1.Market research tool.
- market research reports are very expensive .
- Not enough information about the market.
- Helping business learn customer retention.
- a lot of startup don't know how to retain their customers.
- startups are always in hockey growth phase so they don't care about thier customers.
Would love to hear which ones you like .
thanks.
Both are interesting. Pick the one you are most likely to work on if it gets difficult or tiring, because it will inevitably happen 😀 So basically, the one you love working on the most, regardless of outcome.
thanks for the feedback.i think i already fall for the first idea.
@dagorenouf rien à voir mais c'est tellement cool logology! je viens de faire un petit test et wow 100x mieux que n'importe logo builder que j'ai essayé jusqu'ici!
mmm... do you have something you feel close to? something you know a lot about? something you think you can test and MVP withing hours/days/weeks? something you fell you have an easy access to it's potential customers?
Find an advantage first, not a product.
thanks.
right now i am focusing on building the MVP and i think it's going to take weeks for me to finish it.
Third comment in a row I'm making to this effect: Do you need to choose? Step back and look at the overlap between the ideas.
Unlike the other comments, where I told the posters they didn't necessarily need to pick just one to pursue (contrary to the - usually VC influenced - advice that you should only focus on one thing), because pursuing or at least planning one idea might offer new insights into another, these ideas might actually fit well together in a single product or companion products feeding from the same data.
What do both, a good market research report AND customer retention tool, have? Pain points. They're what need to be considered both for taking on a market and keeping customers. What else? Information on what competitors are doing to attract their customers.

Both ideas are good but I'll go with Idea #1 because companies are moving towards SaaS based product and research and information definitely will helpful.
checkout potloc.com if you're going the market research route, they got cool stuff going on
You can add em here: https://iwanttobuildthis.com/
Build the landing pages in a few minutes. Run some ads/show to your circle and see where you get more subscribers.
Go with that :)
i will check that soon.
thanks.
Hands down idea #2.
Your target demographic for option 1 would be startups who are pre-revenue. This demographic is very reluctant to pay for things, they have to be as money is very tight. Unless you have an enterprise sales background so you can work with big companies who are exploring new markets. This option will be an uphill battle.
Option #2 your demographic is post revenue and has spending cash. On top of that, they are seeing good money walking out the door. If you’re good at your craft you can make a simple pitch. “Pay me $X and I’ll make you $Y ”. Any person can sell that service all day long!
yea the idea#2 is cool too and most of the businesses allow customers to walk out of the door.
thanks.
Have you talked to 10 customers? Let them help you pick. Better yet if you can get someone to agree to buy the tool.
cool. right now i am about to start interviewing the first 50 potential customers about the first idea.
thanks.
Sounds like both could have value, I usually look at the following factors:
Best of luck man!
yea i think both ideas have value because
so i think what if someone will pay a very small amount and access all the report that are in my system.
thanks.
I think that looking at existing customers might help a lot. Try to find out which problems have existing products in these areas, and choose areas with problems you like :)
thanks.
If you could only choose one of these, which one would it be? That will be the one you'll be sticking to for a long time compared to the other one. Throw a coin and you'll know what you want to do while it's mid-air.
thanks a lot.i think i will stick with the first one.
