I've just made the first ebook sale!

Hey all,

5 years ago I created a website about the psychology of colors - colorpsychology.org

And now the website has nearly 100K sessions / mo.

The audience varies from film school students who wants to color schemes in movies to entrepreneurs who want to find the right color to evoke the right emotion in future customers.

Last month, I created an ebook about the same topic and hired a designer through Upwork to make it look like a "book". After uploading the ebook to Gumroad, and promoting it on my website, I received the first sale in the less than 24 hours.

However I kinda think that my landing page is a little weak -> https://www.colorpsychology.org/ebook/

Do you think improving my LP will improve sales or no need to work on it since the website visitors are already have high intent and they'll buy anyway if they want to?

  1. 1

That's pretty amazing, how long did it take you to see a significant bump in search traffic?

I def think you should at least set up an A/B split test. If copywriting/CRO didn't work, then it wouldn't be an industry worth billions.
