Hey everyone,
Last week I've launched www.allthingsai.com
It started out as a curated list of AI tools & services but I'm adding more features after I received a lot of positive feedback on the first version.
Currently exploring on how I'll expand the Guides section, working on a search feature, filters, RSS.
Most importantly I'm still figuring out how to do a proper filter for "Developer Tools/Services" vs "Consumer Tools/Services". I could do a filter in the left sidebar for example, but it could also be 2 seperated sections on the site (accessible via the main navigation).
Would love to hear your thoughts on this first release and would love to hear what you think about splitting the site into Consumer/Developer sections.
Some advice for your website:
Search bar. Could be simple without advanced search, but this is a pretty basic cornerstone of any listing site.
Add a free vs paid differentiator on the AI tools. Lots of ppl are looking for free tools, so allowing them to filter would be nice. "Free" should mean there is a permanently free option rather than free trial.
Love this site, and really hope to add Evoke once we release our stable diffusion API.
We're AI as a service, so we help devs make AI apps easier by hosting open source AI models on the cloud and exposing an API.
We also have a discord, so feel free to share your AI listing in there, our audience will love it.
Btw, I feel like sites like yours are SEO dependent, and writing lots of guides + blog posts helps with that. Since stable diffusion is pretty big rn, I would be more than happy to help you write a guide with using our stable diffusion API to build apps once we release.
Feel free to DM me on twitter about it: https://twitter.com/TheRealEtch
Hey Richard,
Thanks for the feedback. Search and a $$$ tag are the two most requested features! You definitely have a point. I've already finished a basic search which will ship sometime this week.
Also thanks for pointing out SEO dependancy. I've had my doubts whether I should write my own guides or link to guides from other people.
catalog differentiator is how easy to discover hat your looking for -- needs Filters, new toda, breadcrumb navigation + sortby and better meta.
For example: The current categorisation of 'research' for lateral.io, meant I missed it totally and my partner found it. It is likely the best fit to what I have been hunting web for 3 days for.
switched to this catalog after 2 days searching IH: https://www.futurepedia.io/
Grid format looks good - the "AI tools index" space has a lot of competition but good luck to you!
Also, I'll add my own tool (Stylized.ai) as a submission :)
Nice.
