It would be best if you had other measures to keep your data safe, significantly when you can't predict what unforeseen circumstances can happen at any time. Still, you should also choose the proper storage to store your files that is easy to use but with end-to-end encryption.

Nothing is more important than being safe, but this is worst.

This seems like the worst-possible-case scenario. I can only imagine how stressful it can be.

    Whoah, this seems terrible.

    That's serious 😳

This is stressful. Inaccessible password manager...what's the point? Then again, how do you pre-empt every possible scenario? I back everything up on Dropbox and sometimes Google Drive (depending on what the documents are about). I keep personal things like photos and family-related-info on Dropbox and use Google drive for work.

Wow - this is intense. I don't actually back everything up regularly - does anyone have a backup process that's automated?

Cloud storage - but I also backup things that are especially important onto an external hard drive. It's a little old-school and I'm not sure it would be particularly effective after a house fire like the one in this example, but it gives me peace of mind.

same. It's important to have 2 backupsm I store most of my photos and documents in both cloud stroage and my external hard drive.
