I'm hanging out here for the next couple of days, so feel free to ask me anything if you're thinking about running X ads :)

    Gave me some interesting ideas

We tried Google Ads and Facebook but neither worked for us. Maybe it's worth a try X…

I have made multiple attempts to integrate Google Ads into my website, but it has never worked for us.

Only one way to find out ;)

Why did you choose twitter as your primary advertising medium over facebook, LinkedIn, or google?

    1. 2

I think it's a better fit for a course for developers.

They know it's something that's worthwhile learning once and for all, but they rarely proactively search for it on Google.

And X is where many devs hang out.

FB/LI may work as well, but I just haven't tried it yet.

Gotcha. I would think that a course that helps developers get better at their jobs might be a good fit on LinkedIn or for people searching for keywords on google that indicate that they need help learning about DNS.

What kind of returns have you had on your advertising dollars?
Are you happy with the results you've had?
I know that many people have been leaving twitter since the US election, have you noticed any effect on your ads?

What kind of returns have you had on your advertising dollars?
Very positive at first, and probably slightly negative towards the end of the campaign.

Are you happy with the results you've had?

Yes, very happy. I probably wouldn't have made the course if it wasn't for the X ads. I've had it in pre-sale before I started recording, and would have refunded it if it didn't get enough sales.

have you noticed any effect on your ads?
I have disabled my ad campaign a while ago, so I can't compare.
