I've turned Courtland Allen's blogposts into audio so that you can listen to them while multi-tasking.

That indeed may be the most human-sounding synthesized voice. Well done 🥂

Thanks - it was trained on a large number of audio books!

    Hey everyone 👋

I had saved Courtland's top blogposts but never had time to read them.

To solve this problem, I've built a tool that converts any text resource into audio using the world's most human-sounding voice.

I finally managed to listen to Courtland's posts and hope this will help you as well!

Let me know in the comments if you'd like me to turn any other IH post into audio and I'll send you a URL 🌐
You can also create an account on the tool I built (shelf.so) to turn any blogpost, newsletter or news article into audio!
    Cheers 🎉

    Love it, great quality.

I bet you could monetize this idea.

This reminds me of a similar project Id seen before Ad-Auris

What if we collect Courtland Allen's voice sample and train AI to use his voice for making these audios?

    Would be amazing.

    1. 2

@csallen, would you be willing to let us train our AI on your voice in all IH podcasts? 😎

        1. 1

💥 Thanks Courtland - will keep you updated!

      Thank you for the feedback!

Totally - I thought about it, but the technology is there yet. I assume it will be soon!

Being able to turn any text into audio using your favorite voice is pretty powerful!

Great concept, great voice. Is there anyway to use this on mobile without using telegram?
May be something like email or a simple app.

      Thank you for the feedback!
You can directly paste URLs in shelf.so (and therefore do this in your mobile's browser).
We are using Telegram for the MVP phase but would like to build a simple app soon!

Thank you for doing this! :)

However, when I clicked the link, I received this error message: "We're sorry, but something went wrong. If you are the application owner check the logs for more information."
