I use Dank Mono, and it is super good, more readable and looks very beautiful. I found it the best font ever for programmers. Just give it a try. It is a premium font, but you can download it for free also...
I've been using it on PyCharm, and it looks really good!
consolas is still far better for me
I never really cared about fonts but JB Mono is a huge game changer for me. I'm using it since the launch last week and couldn't be happier, I've even changed to JB Mono on my (mini) website https://marcmogdanz.de
