JIRA, your opinion?
I recently invested in licenses for JIRA, service desk, and confluence. I’ve always used them in businesses so felt very comfortable, I must say I’m very impressed with their self hosted version. I setup JIRA and confluence in LXD containers in my home lab, and it makes me much more focused and feeling determined to get things done based on self created JIRA tickets, and makes me feel productive and focused!
What is your experience and opinion with JIRA and confluence?
Personally I think that JIRA products leave a lot to be desired. That said, they're the industry leader because you can do just about anything with them. For personal projects I find lighter weight (Trello, Pivotal Tracker, etc) task management just as effective.
